You'll wonder why you ever went without this.

^ Same goes for the stone stage. Hap's system (Stones, Stone stage, Pond) is incredible. Unexpectedly, This pond may be my favorite component. It's large enough to contain the vast majority of water and slurry for us enthusiasts but still small enough to easily store and lift/maneuver for cleaning. Plus it's snazzy looking, You have to consider that as well!

Expensive? sure. I was hesitant and reluctant to buy this along with the stage and stones. Maybe I just go with the stones only or just the stage and a stone or two? 200 clams is alot to shell out for just a pond. :) Well in the end I couldn't be happier I bought this. It took me no time at all to love this product and I have no doubt it'll last for many, many years of constant use.

Very handy and perfect at what it does. Thanks Hap!

Hello Willie,

Well fit for its purpose

The moon pond is smallish, perfect for those like myself with limited counter space. Like the stone stage, it has been machined from solid aluminum billet and hard anodized. It cleans up in a jiffy. The stage centers perfectly on it.

The inevitable qualification: it *is*smallish. That's a virtue, but don't expect it to contain swarf like a larger pond would. There's a bit of counter cleanup involved. If you have the space, go for the Terra Pond. The Terra Pond also fits two stages, which is cool. But, since I am an apartment dweller, the Moon Pond suits me perfectly. Don't hesitate to purchase if you are space constrained.
